Fully bespoke
Fitted wardrobes
in Stourbridge & Hagley.
Alcove runs for Oldswinford’s villas, full-height walls for Hagley’s detacheds, furniture scribed into cottages that have never owned a straight wall. Drawn for your room, built in Birmingham, and fitted by the same hands.
Book a free design visitFrom Oldswinford’s villas to the executive drives under the Clents, this edge of the patch deals in solid houses with proper bedrooms, owned by people who can tell machine-made from hand-finished at a glance. We make for that audience gladly.
Built, filmed, reviewed.
A passing glance at the work: films from fitting days, rooms as installed, and words we did not write ourselves. The full wall lives on the projects page.

Great quality and service from start to finish and quicker than expected!

Interiors, up close
Built for
Stourbridge & Hagley’s rooms.
Bespoke only earns its name if it answers the actual housing stock. These are the rooms we draw for around Stourbridge.
Oldswinford and Pedmore villas
Victorian and Edwardian houses with high ceilings, deep bays and principal bedrooms of real scale. The run is drawn to the architecture: alcoves used to the full, rails and skirtings met cleanly, nothing boxed off and lost.
Hagley under the Clents
Post-war and modern detacheds on the hill side, many with principal suites waiting to be planned properly. Flat walls and good ceilings reward precision: full-height runs and interiors laid out around how you actually dress.
Norton and Wollaston semis
Interwar bays, chimney breasts and alcoves a standard carcass has never fitted. A drawn run recovers the whole wall, and the bay stops being the reason the room never quite worked.
Kinver and the villages
Cottages and village houses towards the county edge: low ceilings, beams, walls with a century of movement in them. Scribing furniture into rooms like these is the trade at its most satisfying.
What we make
for Stourbridge.
Four kinds of room, one workshop. Fitted wardrobes are what most people come asking for; the making covers the whole bedroom.
Fitted wardrobes in Stourbridge
The bread and butter of the patch: alcove-to-alcove runs in the villas, full-height walls in Hagley’s detacheds, each drawn at one survey and fitted in days by the people who made it.
Walk-in wardrobes in Stourbridge
The larger Pedmore and Hagley houses give up a spare room to a dressing room with island drawers and proper light. Hanging heights, drawer runs and shoe storage are all taken off your actual wardrobe, not a standard plan.
Bedroom furniture in Stourbridge
Chests, bedsides and dressing tables sprayed in the same finish as the run, drawn to the room rather than picked from a page. One scheme, one hand, no odd one out.
Media walls in Stourbridge
Open-plan family rooms take a full media wall with the cabling designed in from the first drawing. In the older houses it is usually a snug, built dark and close around the film.
Forty minutes, no arithmetic.
Stourbridge sits at the western edge of home ground, straight out along the A456 past Hagley. Forty minutes changes nothing: the same survey dates, the same fitting days, no travel surcharges and no drama.
What a Stourbridge room costs.
The same published guide prices apply everywhere we work: fitted bedrooms from £6k, a principal bedroom with a walk-in dressing room between £20k and £40k, where most of our commissions sit, and whole-floor schemes £40k to £80k, all including VAT. The survey turns the guide into one itemised number.
No teaser numbers, and nothing invented to get through the door. If the honest range does not fit, you hear it at the survey, not after it.
One team, from survey
to swept floor.
We design your room, render it photo-realistically before anything is cut, make it in our own 6,000 sq ft Birmingham workshop, and fit it ourselves. Nothing outsourced. Not one part of it.
A designer surveys your room in Stourbridge: every wall, floor and ceiling. You get a real range, not a teaser number.
You see the finished room in your own space before anything is cut. Change your mind freely at the drawing stage; it costs you nothing.
Made in Birmingham, fitted by the people who made it, scribed to your walls until the joins disappear.
I ordered some handles for my wardrobe from here and noticed a small part was missing on opening. I emailed them about this and their customer service was brilliant. Alex the Operations Manager handled my query and dealt with this…
Great quality and service from start to finish and quicker than expected!
Truly brilliant team - 100% skill and on time. Passionate and always come with great ideas. Thank you.
I could not have asked for a better service! The team at Posh Designs really understood what I wanted for my design and did everything they could to make it happen! Quick, professional and the best best quality!
Posh designs are simply incredible. Their bespoke designs and their attention to detail are top level. Can’t recommend them enough
Amazing service from start to finish. Delivery came on time and when the smallest of defects on a worktop was noticed, it was replaced immediately without any issues. Fitting was superb and efficient.
From the very first consultation to the final touches, Rooz has been nothing short of phenomenal. All of his team that worked on my project has been truly outstanding, it has transformed into something beyond my expectations…
Fabulous service with a smile. Quick initial survey, appointment to discuss plan which was even quicker, great 3D rendering to show new kitchen design.
These guys were recommended by our builder, and honestly, what a good decision! The quality and finish of their products are great, and any issues were rapidly rectified. Add to that the friendly warm service from the team, and you can’t lose!
I’ve recently had the pleasure of working with Posh Design to create custom furniture for my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results.
Local questions, straight answers.
Do you charge for design visits in Stourbridge or Hagley?
No. A designer measures the room, talks through what is possible and leaves you with a real range. It costs nothing, and it commits you to nothing.
What do projects here usually cost?
Fitted bedrooms start from £6k including VAT, principal suites with a walk-in run £20k to £40k, and whole floors £40k to £80k. The tiers are published so you can place yourself before anyone visits; the survey then puts one itemised number on your actual room.
Our 1930s semi has a bay and a chimney breast. Is bespoke worth it?
Those rooms are where bespoke earns its keep. The alcoves take full-depth hanging, the chimney breast is dressed rather than boxed, and the bay gets a window seat or a dressing table drawn into the run instead of standing in its way.
Can you work with the low ceilings and beams in Kinver’s older cottages?
Yes. Doors are cut to the actual heights, runs are scribed to walls with a century of movement in them, and beams are worked around rather than covered. Nothing standard fits these rooms, which is exactly why we like them.
How soon can you survey out this way?
This is home ground, so the diary is straightforward. Give us your week when you enquire and a designer replies with real dates within one working day.
Across Stourbridge and around it.
Fitted wardrobes, walk-in dressing rooms, bedroom furniture and media walls, surveyed and fitted in Stourbridge, Oldswinford, Pedmore, Norton, Wollaston, Hagley, Clent and Kinver. One workshop makes all of it, and the same team fits it.
