Bespoke dressing tables
Fitted vanity desks, alcove dressing tables and freestanding pieces, designed with the mirror, lighting and storage.

Dressing tables, bedsides, chests, headboards, window seats. Commission one piece or an entire room: everything starts with your requirements, is drawn for your space, and is made only for you.
Book a free design visitMatching furniture is not about matching colours. It is proportion, line and detail agreeing with each other, because one hand drew all of it.

Sized to the window, wired for the mirror light, with drawers that know the difference between makeup and jewellery. A dressing table is a small piece of joinery doing a precise job. It rewards being drawn properly.
Floating or standing, with sockets, switches and wireless charging designed in rather than drilled in later, at heights that match your bed. A pair of bedsides drawn with the wardrobe run is what makes a scheme read as designed rather than accumulated.

An upholstered headboard set into a panelled wall, with picture lights over and cables hidden behind. The bed wall is the room’s centrepiece, and it is joinery, upholstery and electrics agreeing with each other.

A desk that becomes part of the run, like the sage one here against the stone. Seats built into bays with storage underneath, shelving in the dead corner: the pieces that finish a bedroom, because they came from the same drawing as everything else.
Dressing tables, bedsides, headboards, fitted desks and storage each solve a different room problem. Commission one piece or bring us the whole room: every design begins with the space, what it needs to do and how you want it to feel.
Fitted vanity desks, alcove dressing tables and freestanding pieces, designed with the mirror, lighting and storage.
Floating bedside drawers, fitted cabinets and freestanding pairs, set to the bed and wired into the scheme.
Bay window benches, drawer seats and fitted window walls that preserve the light and use the space beneath it.
Bridging units, fitted wardrobes around the bed and complete bed walls with lighting and power designed in.
Upholstered headboards, panelled bed walls, fitted bedsides, lighting and power drawn as one elevation.
Alcove desks, complete office walls and studies designed around equipment, cables, storage and the working day.
We also design and make chests of drawers, headboards, panelled bed walls, fitted desks, archway and doorway cabinetry, eaves storage and one-off pieces. Each commission is drawn for its owner and the space it will occupy.
Bedroom furniture first, then the rest of the work: projects, films from the fitting days and verified reviews. All real, all ours.

I ordered some handles for my wardrobe from here and noticed a small part was missing on opening. I emailed them about this and their customer service was brilliant. Alex the Operations Manager handled my query and dealt with this…

Great quality and service from start to finish and quicker than expected!

Truly brilliant team - 100% skill and on time. Passionate and always come with great ideas. Thank you.

The wall that is not square. The idea you are not sure is possible. What it might cost. Ask the person who designs and engineers the rooms, not a sales team.
Most bedroom furniture briefs start near one of these four looks. Point at the closest and we take it from there: every door is still drawn from scratch for your room.
Framed doors and proper panelling, hand-sprayed. The period-house staple.
Flat fronts, slim handles, floor to ceiling. Minimal, warm, calm.
Beading, bed walls and softer tones, drawn for older rooms.
Ribbed and slatted surfaces that carry the evening light.

The colour is matched to a reference, the doors are drawn for the room, the insides are sized to what you own. All of it is decided with a designer at the drawing stage.

Nine from recent rooms, not a range. The spray shop matches any colour you bring: a paint name, a sample pot, a fabric. And if you are starting from nothing, a designer helps you choose at the drawing stage.
If it is not on the board, we still make it. Tell us what you want, or show us a photograph, and we will draw it for your room.
Ask for itThe Look BookOne team carries your room through all four stages. You will know exactly where it is at every one of them.
A designer measures your room and talks through what is possible. Free, about an hour, no obligation.
Layouts, finishes and a photo-real render of your actual room. Change anything you like: at this stage it costs nothing.
Built to the survey in our own 6,000 sq ft Birmingham workshop. Nothing outsourced.
Installed by the team that made it, shaped to your walls on site. Most rooms take days, not weeks.
Founded and run by Rooz and Mona. The team that makes your furniture is the team that fits it.

Freestanding or built in, every piece runs the same route through the same workshop.
Every line is one commission, itemised at sign-off.
See what it costsBoth, usually. The honest trade-offs, plainly:
Uses every millimetre, hides every wire, and holds its value with the house. It stays when you move, so it is designed for the room.
Comes with you. A bespoke chest or dressing table is furniture in the old sense: made once, moved often, kept for decades.
Most rooms want built-in storage and freestanding character pieces, drawn as one scheme so the mix looks decided.
We colour-match sprayed finishes and pick up proportions from what is already in the room. Bring photographs to the visit and we will say how close we can get.
Every piece is commissioned, designed and made to requirement. A fitted bedroom scheme starts from £6k including VAT as a guide; a bedroom with a walk-in dressing room runs £20k to £40k. Individual dressing tables, chests, bedsides, window seats and other pieces are designed and quoted from their own brief, so the figure reflects the furniture and fitting your room requires.
Tell us about the room or individual piece and a designer will give you a straight starting range.

The glide of a drawer, a door that settles shut, charging exactly where you need it. You will use these a dozen times a day for years, so they are engineered, not just styled.

Amazing service from start to finish. Delivery came on time and when the smallest of defects on a worktop was noticed, it was replaced immediately without any issues. Fitting was superb and efficient.
From the very first consultation to the final touches, Rooz has been nothing short of phenomenal. All of his team that worked on my project has been truly outstanding, it has transformed into something beyond my expectations…
Fabulous service with a smile. Quick initial survey, appointment to discuss plan which was even quicker, great 3D rendering to show new kitchen design.
These guys were recommended by our builder, and honestly, what a good decision! The quality and finish of their products are great, and any issues were rapidly rectified. Add to that the friendly warm service from the team, and you can’t lose!
I’ve recently had the pleasure of working with Posh Design to create custom furniture for my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results.
Honest answers, including the ones that depend on seeing your room. More in the Journal, and a designer will answer anything else.
Usually, yes. We colour-match sprayed finishes and pick up proportions and details from what is already in the room. Bring photographs to the design visit and we will tell you honestly how close we can get.
Yes. A dressing table, pair of bedsides, chest of drawers, window seat, fitted desk or another individual piece can be commissioned on its own. It is designed to your requirements and made specifically for you.
Send us the room, approximate dimensions and what the piece needs to do. We will design and quote from that brief in exactly the same way we would approach a complete bedroom.
Sprayed paint in effectively any colour, natural and stained veneers, and solid timber where the design wants it. There is no fixed palette and no standard range. The finish is chosen for your room, in your light, at the drawing stage.
Yes, as part of the bed wall. Upholstered panels in your fabric, set into painted or veneered joinery, with picture lights and cabling designed in. It is the centrepiece of most principal suite schemes.
The price begins with your space and requirements. Dimensions, storage, finish, proportion, power, surrounding joinery and installation are all resolved for the commission before the furniture is made in our workshop.
We then quote the agreed individual piece or complete room, so the figure reflects the design, making and fitting your project actually requires.

A designer measures the room, tells you what it could be, and gives you a real range. Free, and if we are not right for it, we say so.
