Bedroom furniture
Matching furniture is not about matching colours. It is proportion, line and detail agreeing with each other, because one hand drew all of it.
Bespoke dressing tables
Sized to the window, wired for the mirror light, with drawers that know the difference between makeup and jewellery. A dressing table is a small piece of joinery doing a precise job. It rewards being drawn properly.
Bedside tables and chests of drawers
Floating or standing, with sockets, switches and wireless charging designed in rather than drilled in later, at heights that match your bed. A pair of bedsides drawn with the wardrobe run is what makes a scheme read as designed rather than accumulated.
Headboards and panelled bed walls
An upholstered headboard set into a panelled wall, with picture lights over and cables hidden behind. The bed wall is the room’s centrepiece, and it is joinery, upholstery and electrics agreeing with each other.
Window seats, desks and awkward corners
A desk that becomes part of the run, like the sage one here against the stone. Seats built into bays with storage underneath, shelving in the dead corner: the pieces that finish a bedroom, because they came from the same drawing as everything else.

We also design and make chests of drawers, headboards, panelled bed walls, fitted desks, archway and doorway cabinetry, eaves storage and one-off pieces. Each commission is drawn for its owner and the space it will occupy.

Freestanding or built in?
Both, usually. The honest trade-offs, plainly:
Built in
Uses every millimetre, hides every wire, and holds its value with the house. It stays when you move, so it is designed for the room.
Freestanding
Comes with you. A bespoke chest or dressing table is furniture in the old sense: made once, moved often, kept for decades.
The mix that works
Most rooms want built-in storage and freestanding character pieces, drawn as one scheme so the mix looks decided.
Matching existing joinery
We colour-match sprayed finishes and pick up proportions from what is already in the room. Bring photographs to the visit and we will say how close we can get.
The investment
What bespoke furniture costs here.
Every piece is commissioned, designed and made to requirement. A fitted bedroom scheme starts from £6k including VAT as a guide; a bedroom with a walk-in dressing room runs £20k to £40k. Individual dressing tables, chests, bedsides, window seats and other pieces are designed and quoted from their own brief, so the figure reflects the furniture and fitting your room requires.

Can you match furniture to wardrobes you did not build?
Usually, yes. We colour-match sprayed finishes and pick up proportions and details from what is already in the room. Bring photographs to the design visit and we will tell you honestly how close we can get.
Do you make one-off single pieces?
Yes. A dressing table, pair of bedsides, chest of drawers, window seat, fitted desk or another individual piece can be commissioned on its own. It is designed to your requirements and made specifically for you.
Send us the room, approximate dimensions and what the piece needs to do. We will design and quote from that brief in exactly the same way we would approach a complete bedroom.
What finishes are available?
Sprayed paint in effectively any colour, natural and stained veneers, and solid timber where the design wants it. There is no fixed palette and no standard range. The finish is chosen for your room, in your light, at the drawing stage.
Do you do upholstered headboards?
Yes, as part of the bed wall. Upholstered panels in your fabric, set into painted or veneered joinery, with picture lights and cabling designed in. It is the centrepiece of most principal suite schemes.
How is bespoke furniture priced?
The price begins with your space and requirements. Dimensions, storage, finish, proportion, power, surrounding joinery and installation are all resolved for the commission before the furniture is made in our workshop.
We then quote the agreed individual piece or complete room, so the figure reflects the design, making and fitting your project actually requires.
