What sits on top
A lamp, water, phone, book and glasses need a real patch of clear surface. The drawer front may look minimal, but the top still has to serve the person in the bed.
Floating drawers, fitted bedside cabinets or a freestanding pair. Made to the mattress height, the wall width and the things you reach for in the dark, with sockets, switches and charging placed before the furniture is built.

Every commission begins with your room and how the furniture needs to work. We measure the intended position, design the piece with everything around it, show you a photo-real render, then make it in our own workshop and fit or deliver it as the commission requires.
The finished mattress height sets the surface. The available wall sets the width. What you keep beside the bed decides the drawers, while lamps, charging and switches are positioned around the way each person reaches.
A pair can be commissioned on its own, matched to existing joinery or drawn into a complete bed wall. The two sides can share a finish without being internally identical if each person uses theirs differently.
These are starting points, not fixed models. Dimensions, storage, finish and detail are drawn specifically for your room.
There is no standard arrangement. We draw the piece around the wall, the furniture beside it and the way you will use the room.
Wall-mounted drawers keep the floor line open and make cleaning simple. They work especially well with a wide panelled headboard, where the support and cable routes can disappear inside the bed wall.
A fitted cabinet closes the gap between bed and wardrobe, hides skirting and can carry a worktop or panel line through the room. It is useful where every centimetre matters and a freestanding piece would leave unusable slivers either side.
A freestanding pair brings flexibility and can move with you. Bespoke proportions are valuable when the bed is unusually high, the wall is tight or the piece needs to match wardrobes without looking as though it was added afterwards.
The table, upholstered panels, reading lights and switches are drawn as one bed wall. This is the cleanest way to create a hotel-like centrepiece without collecting separate pieces and then trying to hide their cables.

The useful bedside surface sits where your hand expects it. Mattress thickness, bed base and topper all change that point, which is why we ask for the actual bed specification before fixing a floating unit or setting out panel lines.
Bedsides are small, but there is nowhere for a design error to hide. A few millimetres and one misplaced socket can be felt twice a day for years.
A lamp, water, phone, book and glasses need a real patch of clear surface. The drawer front may look minimal, but the top still has to serve the person in the bed.
Switches and charging should sit where the hand naturally lands. In a pair, the internal layouts do not have to be identical if the two people use them differently.
Curtains stack, drawers pull out and wardrobe doors swing. We draw all three in their open positions so a calm elevation does not become a nightly collision.
A fixed floating unit is committed to a bed width and height. If the bed is likely to change, a freestanding or more forgiving arrangement may be the better long-term choice.
The piece follows the same route as a complete room. The people who draw it can speak to the people making it, and the people fitting it already know the drawing.
A pair of bedside tables can be commissioned on its own or as part of a full bedroom. We price the agreed design after setting the dimensions, storage, finish, power and fitting requirements. Where bedsides form part of a fitted scheme, single-bedroom projects start from £6k including VAT as a guide; a complete bed wall, upholstery, lighting and matching wardrobes are quoted together as one scheme.

The answer sometimes depends on seeing the wall. Where it does, we say so.
Yes. Floating bedside drawers can be fixed directly to a suitable wall or designed as part of a panelled headboard. We resolve the support, finished mattress height and cable routes before manufacture.
Yes. Sockets, USB charging, wireless charging and light switches can be incorporated where the specification allows. They are designed in and coordinated with the electrical work, not drilled through a finished cabinet as an afterthought.
Usually. We can colour-match sprayed finishes and echo door proportions, handles and details. Exact matches depend on the original material, age and finish, so we inspect what is there before promising one.
Yes. The pair can share the same outward proportions and finish while the drawers, charging and switching are planned differently for each person. Symmetry in the room does not require identical storage inside.
Yes. We can design and make an individual pair without a complete bedroom commission. They are made from your measurements and requirements, and can be designed to match existing furniture or as the first part of a wider scheme.
Commission one fitted piece on its own, or ask us to resolve the adjoining storage, lighting, power and furniture as one complete scheme.
