Built around your room
One headboard, or the architecture of the whole wall.
A bespoke headboard can follow the width of the bed, extend behind the bedside tables or cover the wall from skirting to ceiling. Its proportions come from the bed, mattress, ceiling and the view from the doorway, rather than a standard double or king-size template.
When the headboard is drawn with fitted bedsides, wall panels, mirrors and lighting, all of the important lines agree. Switches land where hands reach, drawers clear the bed and the wall feels deliberately composed instead of gradually accessorised.

The layouts
Four ways to draw the piece.
There is no standard arrangement. We draw the piece around the wall, the furniture beside it and the way you will use the room.
The shaped upholstered headboard
A single upholstered piece can be drawn to the bed, wall and room style, with the height and outline made specifically for the elevation. It can remain visually quiet or carry piping, fluting and a more sculptural silhouette.
The full-width headboard
Upholstery continues behind the bedsides to connect the entire wall. Vertical seams, bedside widths and light positions share one rhythm, making even a broad wall feel balanced.
The panelled bed wall
Upholstered, painted or veneered panels can rise to the ceiling and wrap sockets, mirrors and lighting into the composition. The junctions are drawn first so no switch or seam lands by accident.
The bed wall with fitted storage
Bedside drawers, open niches or tall cabinets sit within the same elevation as the headboard. Where storage bridges above, clearance and depth are tested from the pillow as carefully as capacity.

The working detail
The mattress sets the working height.
The visible headboard begins above the pillows, but the useful drawing starts at the floor. Bed frame, mattress depth, topper, sockets and bedside height all change where panels, lights and switches should land.

The brief
A bed wall is used in the dark.
The strongest elevation still has to work half-awake. These are the details that turn an attractive wall into comfortable bedroom furniture.
What each person reaches for
A book, glass, phone and glasses need a surface and usually a drawer. Two people may want different storage, switches and charging even when the wall looks symmetrical.
Reading and ambient light
A reading light needs the correct throw and a switch by the hand. Softer backlighting can lift a panel from the wall, but it should never leave visible dots or shine directly at the pillow.
Future access
Drivers, sockets and service points need discreet access after fitting. A resolved bed wall hides the working parts without sealing them permanently behind upholstery or panels.

Can you make a headboard to any width and height?
Yes. The headboard is drawn to the actual bed, mattress, wall and ceiling rather than selected from standard size options. It can match the bed width, extend behind the bedsides or form a full-wall treatment.
Can the headboard include bedside tables and lighting?
Yes. Fitted bedside drawers, open niches, reading lights, switches, sockets and charging can all be designed into the same elevation. Coordinating them early is the main advantage of commissioning the whole bed wall together.
Do you make upholstered wall panels?
Yes. Panels can be plain, fluted or arranged in a custom pattern, with fabric and seam positions selected for the room. They can be combined with timber, veneer, painted joinery, mirrors and lighting.
Can you make a headboard as a single piece?
Yes. A shaped or full-width headboard can be commissioned without a complete bedroom. We still measure the bed and wall, draw the piece, agree the fabric and proportions, then make it specifically for that position.
Can a bespoke bed wall work with an existing bed?
Yes. We measure the existing frame and mattress and design around their exact dimensions. We also discuss any likely future change of bed size before fixing bedside positions or full-height panels.
