Fully bespoke
Fitted wardrobes
in Solihull.
A principal bedroom rebuilt as one scheme: a wall of wardrobes, a dressing room won from the spare room, furniture to match. Drawn for your exact room, shown as a photo-real render before anything is cut, then made and fitted by one team.
Book a free design visitThe Solihull brief is rarely one wardrobe. It is a principal bedroom rethought: a wall of doors, a dressing room won from the spare room, and furniture drawn so the whole scheme reads as one hand.
Built, filmed, reviewed.
A passing glance at the work: films from fitting days, rooms as installed, and words we did not write ourselves. The full wall lives on the projects page.

Great quality and service from start to finish and quicker than expected!

Built for
Solihull’s rooms.
Bespoke only earns its name if it answers the actual housing stock. These are the rooms we draw for around Solihull.
Family houses with principal suites
The larger detached houses around Solihull have the floor space for a proper dressing room: a spare bedroom converted, or the dead end of a long principal room partitioned with joinery rather than a stud wall. This is our most commissioned kind of project.
Arts & Crafts and interwar homes
Knowle and Dorridge keep their period detail. Panelling lines, deep skirtings, leaded bays. New furniture has to speak that language, which is a drawing problem before it is a making problem, and the drawing is where we start.
Newer estates
Dickens Heath and the newer developments trade ceiling height for clean walls. In a modern room the win is precision: runs that use every centimetre to the ceiling, flush lines, and interiors planned down to the last drawer.
Extended semis around Shirley and Olton
Half of Shirley has pushed the kitchen out and left the bedrooms untouched. The storage pressure lands upstairs, and a fitted run drawn wall to wall usually recovers more space than the extension cost the garden.
What we make
for Solihull.
Four kinds of room, one workshop. Fitted wardrobes are what most people come asking for; the making covers the whole bedroom.
Walk-in wardrobes in Solihull
Solihull is our dressing-room heartland. Dorridge and Knowle detacheds give up a spare bedroom to a walk-in with an island of drawers; longer principal rooms take a joinery partition instead, so the dressing room is won without losing a bedroom from the listing.
Fitted wardrobes in Solihull
In the period stock the run is drawn to the panelling and the leaded bay. On the newer estates it is drawn to the ceiling, floor to cornice-less top, with not a boxed-off void in sight. Two different disciplines, one workshop.
Bedroom furniture in Solihull
A dressing table under the window, bedsides that match the run, a chest where the radiator allows. Made with the wardrobes so the timber, the finish and the handles agree across the room.
Media walls in Solihull
Open-plan family rooms in Dickens Heath and Cheswick Green take a full media wall with the cabling designed in before a single board is cut. In the older houses it is usually a snug: darker, smaller, built for the film.
Twenty minutes door to door.
The workshop is in Stirchley, south Birmingham. Most of the borough is about twenty minutes away, the villages a few minutes more, and that closeness shows up everywhere: in survey dates, in fitting days, and in how easily you can come and see your furniture being made.
What a Solihull room costs.
The same published guide prices apply everywhere we work: fitted bedrooms from £6k, a principal bedroom with a walk-in dressing room between £20k and £40k, where most of our commissions sit, and whole-floor schemes £40k to £80k, all including VAT. The survey turns the guide into one itemised number.
No teaser numbers, and nothing invented to get through the door. If the honest range does not fit, you hear it at the survey, not after it.
One team, from survey
to swept floor.
We design your room, render it photo-realistically before anything is cut, make it in our own 6,000 sq ft Birmingham workshop, and fit it ourselves. Nothing outsourced. Not one part of it.
A designer surveys your room in Solihull: every wall, floor and ceiling. You get a real range, not a teaser number.
You see the finished room in your own space before anything is cut. Change your mind freely at the drawing stage; it costs you nothing.
Made in Birmingham, fitted by the people who made it, scribed to your walls until the joins disappear.
I ordered some handles for my wardrobe from here and noticed a small part was missing on opening. I emailed them about this and their customer service was brilliant. Alex the Operations Manager handled my query and dealt with this…
Great quality and service from start to finish and quicker than expected!
Truly brilliant team - 100% skill and on time. Passionate and always come with great ideas. Thank you.

Amazing service from start to finish. Delivery came on time and when the smallest of defects on a worktop was noticed, it was replaced immediately without any issues. Fitting was superb and efficient.
From the very first consultation to the final touches, Rooz has been nothing short of phenomenal. All of his team that worked on my project has been truly outstanding, it has transformed into something beyond my expectations…
Fabulous service with a smile. Quick initial survey, appointment to discuss plan which was even quicker, great 3D rendering to show new kitchen design.
These guys were recommended by our builder, and honestly, what a good decision! The quality and finish of their products are great, and any issues were rapidly rectified. Add to that the friendly warm service from the team, and you can’t lose!
I’ve recently had the pleasure of working with Posh Design to create custom furniture for my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results.
Local questions, straight answers.
Do you charge for design visits in Solihull?
No. The first visit is a survey, a conversation and a real range, free and without obligation. If we are not right for the room, we say so at the house rather than in a quote three weeks later.
What do Solihull projects usually cost?
The published tiers tell you honestly where you would land: fitted bedrooms from £6k including VAT, principal suites with a walk-in between £20k and £40k, whole floors £40k to £80k. Where yours lands depends on the room, and the free survey settles it with one itemised number.
Can you turn our spare room into a dressing room?
Yes, and it is one of the best-value moves in the house. The room is surveyed, the layout drawn around your actual clothes, and you see the photo-real render before anything is cut. Hanging, drawers, shelving and lighting, all in one build.
Our new build has perfectly flat walls. Is bespoke still worth it?
Flat walls remove one problem and leave the others: ceiling height nothing standard reaches, returns and reveals nothing modular fits, and interiors that never match how you dress. Sometimes modular genuinely is the right answer for a room, and when it is, we tell you.
Can you fit wardrobes into our loft conversion?
Yes. Doors are cut to your roof pitch rather than a standard angle, the eaves become deep drawers or hanging, and the low end works as hard as the high end. Loft rooms are precision jobs, and precision is the whole trade.
